Self-sealing stacking bags

Is it possible to eliminate cassettes in smart safes and note recyclers? At CIMA, we have an entire range that does just that.

Cassettes are prone to damage and require time to “de cash” (remove notes, bundle, pack into plastic bags).  At CIMA we solved this problem by eliminating the need for cassettes.  Several of our machines deposit notes right into a plastic bag.

Here are several reasons why bags are better than cassettes:

SECURE, TAMPER EVIDENT BAGS
With our stacking technology, notes are packed in a tight stack and then sealed. Prior to removal, the bag is heat-sealed to prevent tampering. This makes the pickup and transport of bags more efficient than the way a cassette is typically managed. Every bag has a unique barcode so it can be tracked and traced as needed.

FAST BAG REPLACEMENT
The replacement of new bags is quick and simple too. The retailer simply removes sealed bags and stores them for CIT pickup.  When the CIT arrives they simply scan the bags, grab them and leave.  No need to expose notes from cassettes which creates an unnecessary risk of theft, loss, and staff safety.

CASSETTES ADD COMPLEXITY
Cassettes are expensive to replace and can be damaged easily. There is also the added hassle of keys.  When a cassette is full of notes it can be quite heavy too. With plastic bags, there is no risk of cassette damage, and there no keys to manage. Bags are much lighter than cassettes full of notes too.

MORE EFFICIENT FOR CIT COMPANIES
CIT guards can simply arrive, pickup bags, and leave.  Our stacked bags are easier to transport too.  They are also significantly faster to process back at the CIT depot. In a recent time study at a CIT company, we found it takes less than half the time to process a CIMA bag of 3,000 notes compared to the same quantity of notes that came from traditional cassettes.
