Rippa Ribbon Feed Device - Card Printer Ribbon Shredder Attachment
The IdentiSys Rippa, an attachment device compatible with existing standard office shredders, makes it easy to destroy images and confidential information on ribbons used to issue cards. The Rippa can simultaneously shred up to four ribbons at a time by threading between two rolls of standard, commercially available paper.
Why shred ID card printer ribbons?
Used thermal printer ribbons and embossing topper foils carry an image of the confidential information, such as name, account numbers, etc. It is important that card issuers shred used ribbons to protect cardholders and themselves from potential liability arising from stolen ribbons.
