With high-speed, high-quality, precise processing capabilities plus reliable item handling, and other useful features, the CR-120 check transport can help promote adaptability and productivity for financial applications.

As well as scanning up to 12,000 checks per day, at rapid speeds of up to 120  per minute, they also offer flexible space-saving options such as integrated magnetic swipe reader in CR-120 with MSR. Both series of scanner employ precise magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) to read code line data, and also capture greyscale images of both sides of each check. Powerful OCR software then reads the characters from the scanned image and cross-check them using a unique algorithm to ensure maximum accuracy.

Both series of check scanner have a built-in slot for the color scanning of plastic cards, such as driver’s license, other ID cards, and even embossed bank and credit cards. This means that bank tellers can quickly verify customers’ identity, and also easily record that they have done so.

There is a built-in imprinter that enables quick and easy print endorsement on the back of checks while they are being scanned. Up to five lines of 60-character text, as well as high quality bitmap images, can be printed in a single motion, ensuring no loss of overall check scanning speed.
